COURSE MODIFICATION:
Due to high water at Wood Lake Nature Center, the 2019 half marathon course will be modified.
For more information, see the letter from Race Coordinator Amy Markle.

COURSE
See link above regarding modification of half-marathon course due to flooding at Wood Lake Nature Center. The modified course is out-and-back.

Our half-marathon and 5K courses have been redesigned for the first time in 10 years! The USATF-certified half-marathon course is still circular (now a closed loop, so it begins and ends at the exact same spot), still fast and flat, still scenic! The new course passes through Wood Lake, around Taft Park, through Veterans Park, and now along a section of the Three Rivers Park District regional bike trail corridor along 76th Street. For maps of both courses, visit the Course Info page.

SUPPORTING WOOD LAKE NATURE CENTER
100% of the profits from this event benefit the 47-year environmental-education partnership between Wood Lake Nature Center and Richfield Public Schools, a program put in jeopardy in the wake of state budget cuts in 2003. The participants of this event have kept the program funded ever since.
